Finding Your Way Around FlexSite
FlexSite's navigation is designed to be intuitive and context-aware, meaning it changes based on where you are and what you're working on. Let's explore how to get around efficiently.
Top Navigation Bar
At the very top of your screen, you'll find the main navigation bar. This is your constant companion that stays visible as you move around the platform. Here you'll find the organization dropdown (if you're part of multiple organizations), your user profile menu, and the hamburger menu button that controls the sidebar.
You'll also notice chat and feedback icons - these are always available if you need help or want to share your thoughts about the platform.
Smart Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar is like a chameleon - it adapts to show you the most relevant options based on where you are. When you're viewing a project, it shows project-specific options. When you're in an environment, it switches to environment-specific tools. This keeps your navigation clean and focused.
The sidebar can be collapsed to give you more screen space for your work, and expanded when you need to see all your options.
Breadcrumb Trail
Ever feel lost in a website? FlexSite's breadcrumb navigation shows you exactly where you are in the hierarchy. It's like leaving a trail of breadcrumbs so you can always find your way back. Each part of the breadcrumb is clickable, so you can quickly jump back to any level.
Pro Tips
Use the organization dropdown to quickly switch between different organizations. The sidebar toggle (hamburger menu) is your friend when you need more screen real estate. And don't forget about the breadcrumbs - they're not just decorative, they're functional navigation tools.
