Environment Sync and Cache Management

Overview

Sync copies database and/or files between environments. Cache clears refresh Varnish and Drupal caches without a full sync.

Steps — sync environments

1. Open source or target Overview at /dashboard/[orgId]/project/[id]/environment/[envId].
2. Click Sync Environment or Sync from Another Environment.
3. Select the source environment.
4. Choose Database, Files, or Both.
5. Confirm. A safety backup may be created first. Credits may apply.

Steps — clear caches

1. On environment Overview, open the actions menu.
2. Click Clear caches.
3. Wait for confirmation toast (Cache cleared successfully).

FlexLab note

Prefer Git deployments for code changes. Use sync for content-only promotion between environments.

Restrictions

• Cannot sync into a provisioning environment.
• FROZEN organizations may block sync until billing is active.
