Trial, Frozen, and Plan States

Overview

Organizations move through subscription states that gate features: TRIAL, ACTIVE, PAST_DUE, and FROZEN.

TRIAL

  • Limited credits (e.g. 20).
  • Custom domains and Support tickets are blocked.
  • Publication wizard shows upgrade CTA.
  • Upgrade via Billing → choose a paid plan.

ACTIVE

  • Full feature access per plan tier.
  • Custom domains, Support, and normal credit refresh.
  • Members can be invited without restriction.

FROZEN

  • Triggered by failed payment or policy action.
  • New deploys, sync, and resource upgrades blocked.
  • Existing sites may become read-only or unavailable.
  • Resolve under Billing by updating payment method.

Steps — recover from FROZEN

  1. Open /dashboard/[orgId]/billing.
  2. Fix payment method or contact sales if enterprise.
  3. Confirm status returns to ACTIVE.
  4. Retry blocked actions (deploy, publication, sync).
