Overview
This guide walks through your first days on FlexSite: confirming your account, setting up an organization (your team space), and optionally launching a first website.
Key concepts
- Profile — your personal FlexSite login (name, email). One person can belong to many organizations.
- Organization — where websites, billing, and teammates live. You need at least one org to create a project.
- TRIAL — many new orgs start on a free trial with a small pool of credits. Some features (custom domains, Support) unlock after you upgrade to ACTIVE.
Steps — first sign-in
- Sign up or sign in to FlexSite.
- Complete any fields on Profile if the app prompts you (this helps teammates recognize you).
- If you have no organization yet, follow the onboarding prompts or choose Create Organization from the organization menu.
Steps — first organization
- After you create an org, you land on Projects — an empty list until you add a site.
- Open Billing to see whether you are on TRIAL, how many credits you have, and what an upgrade includes.
- When you are ready to collaborate, open Members and invite colleagues by email.
Steps — first project
- From Projects, click New Project (full wizard) or Create Atom Site (fastest AI path).
- Atom is best for a quick marketing site with minimal setup. FlexProject Hosting leads to Codeless (editor-friendly Drupal) or FlexLab (developer Git workflow).
- Submit the wizard — FlexSite builds the site in the background. Status on Overview changes from provisioning to ready when you can visit the URL.
After onboarding
- Read Choosing Your Project Type if you are unsure which tier fits long term.
- Skim Navigation Basics so the sidebar hierarchy feels familiar.
- Upgrade to ACTIVE before you need your own domain name or Support tickets.
- For media-heavy Codeless sites, set up Digital Assets early so editors have a shared image library.
